If you believe that the fight for social justice doesn't just stop at the doorsteps of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people, but that true social justice means an end to racial discrimination, sexism, the right to join a union, the right to a living wage and health care, and peace above war, then you belong with Pride At Work.

Marriage Equality in Rochester New York
Marriage became a reality in Rochester, New York as couples gathered waiting for the doors to open at 1:00pm so they could apply for a marriage license. Judges volunteered their time so they could issue waivers for the 24 hour waiting period. Thirty-nine couples received their licenses and 10 couples chose to get married on July 24, 2011. It was a day of great joy and happiness that cannot be described in words. Pride at Work and Equality Rochester organized the festivities surrounding the couples who received marriage licenses. Flowers, bubbles, cake, professional photographs, wedding favors, music and cheering supporters joined the celebration throughout the day. Following are pictures of the days events.
